P.B Poorman Award
The UW System P.B Poorman Award was initiated in 2006 to recognize a faculty, academic or classified staff, or registered UWS student for her or his excellence in advocacy, research, teaching, or service on behalf of the LGBTQ communities. The award is sponsored by the UW System Office of Academic Affairs and the UW System LGBTQ Inclusivity Initiative.
The Award Luncheon and conference plenary will be held on Friday, March 25th from 12:15 – 1:45 p.m. in the dining room of Lowell Hall on the UW-Madison campus. The PB Poorman Award keynote speaker will be announced soon. If you would like to attend the awards luncheon but do not plan to attend the conference, please send a check for $10 per person made out to UW System and the names of the attendees to: PB Poorman Awards, UW System Inclusivity Initiative, 1634 Van Hise Hall, 1220 Linden Drive, Madison, WI 53706. Please include an e-mail address for confirmations—if no email address is indicated, your mailing address should be included. The awards luncheon is included in the registration fees for conference attendees.
